"Birth is a veiled mystery. We don't often know what kind of birth we're going to get. But I knew this story long before it unfolded. 

For months I had dreams and visions of sweet Danica's birth and every magical detail. I knew the day I'd go into labor and that the sun would be shining. I knew who would be there and when they'd arrive. I knew the songs we'd hear and the foods we'd eat and all of the beautiful feelings we'd feel. And I knew that this would be the most incredibly healing day of our lives.
