Jules | Maternity | Part I
Mother to two sweet boys Jules is expecting a third baby, her eldest swears this one's a girl, at the end of the summer.
I was very lucky to be invited to attend her first two births as her doula. I was luckier still to call her Friend, then to have her join me as my business partner and co-owner of Two Rivers Childbirth three years ago. My life will never be the same because of what we've built together.
The journey hasn't always been easy, or comfortable, or fair, but I've watched her blossom into one tough mother; fierce and tender.
She was a really good sport for this session braving slippery rocks, cold water, ants, crawfish and poison ivy. I'm so glad to be able to show her just a bit of how beautiful I think she is, inside and out.
